A Stones Throw section returns as we go across the pond to Nottingham, England, UK and beyond with our new post and interview, “The Land of Iron,” featuring the testimony of Nhlanhla Prichard Mhlanga, co-founder and leader of the “The Brothers in Christ” and the ‘The Brothers and Sisters in Christ” outreach ministries.
Watch and listen as Prichard describes his struggles to fit in being born with six fingers on one hand and experiencing rejection and teasing in his native land of Zimbabwe. This pain led to rebellion, isolation, and drug use that continued after joining his mother in the UK. After multiple arrests and facing prolonged incarceration, Prichard was rescued by a loving and faithful God, meeting the real Jesus at his lowest point.
Through Prichard’s time in rehab connected to a church and at the encouragement of another brother in the Lord, “The Brothers in Christ” bible study was started to give men a safe space to fellowship, confess, read the Scripture, and pray for one another. This led to the formation of another group, “The Brothers and Sisters in Christ.”
Prichard has been transformed.
