Our new post and interview, “Go Wide,” takes us to East Berlin, Pennsylvania, for a long overdue conversation with Scotty Matta, Pastor at New Life Assembly of God.
We got to know Scotty, Melissa and their children during their six years of service as Family Life Pastors at Compelled Church in Temperance, MI.
In this remote interview, Scotty shares about the transition to Pastoring a church, outreach and connection to the surrounding community and seeking God for guidance and vision for the future while honoring foundations.
We had some great moments of life in this one as well, including a special guest appearance by the family dog and Scotty and Melissas’ children!

Scotty Matta Pastors New Life Assembly of God in East Berlin, PA. He and his wife Melissa have been married for 11 years and have four children, Noah, Abagail, Hannah, and Selah. Melissa serves as the church’s Office Administrator and according to Scotty, keeps things running, and keeps things moving.
