D1 to the One – Jerry Harris

Put on some pads and grab a helmet. Living Stones Unearthed goes full contact with our new post and interview: “D1 to the One,” featuring our conversation with Jerry Harris, husband, father, and former edge rusher with the Eastern Michigan University Eagles.

Watch and listen as Jerry talks about his upbringing, family, and faith as well as the commitment, training, and hard work it took to receive a scholarship and play Division 1 college football. Jerry is candid about his journey to rediscovering the joy of knowing that his identity has always been in Christ after God took a back seat for a time to the dream of playing professional football.

We are grateful for Jerry, his family, and his powerful story.

  1. A story of a walk through life that shows how God never leaves us. He was there even though he wasn’t seen. He was working every single moment to lead! He waited until he was called upon. So inspiring!
