Oma Always – Paul Bentley

“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” – 1st Thessalonians 5: 16-18

“Let’s Pray.” That was always Oma’s answer.

You are invited this week to our family time and interview with good friend and Brother Paul Bentley, as we reminisce, celebrate, and honor the life of his mother Oma Bentley.

Watch and listen as Paul describes how Oma came to faith through raising seven children alone, caught fire, lived for Jesus, and impacted her family and all those around her.

She is still impacting people two years after her passing.

We are grateful to the Bentley family, Paul, and Sandy, in particular for sharing their lives with us.

  1. I loved this interview!! Loved hearing about your paths crossings, your home churches and where you all are today. I would have loved being part of those early days! Home churches are my most favorite places to gather and connect with my peeps. Deep true connections take place for edification, depth and relationship for accountability and a family come around you to What an amazing testimony of Gods grace and faithfulness!!!
Mentioning the people whom most influences our children in the Lord were not blood related but those willing to reach out and
be family to those whom did not have blood related families. That’s exactly why, to this day love to reach out to others since those others became my circle of people wherever the Lord placed me and my children. Thank all that have served in one way or another to those that are without blood family support. Believers being the hands and feet of Jesus to others around them. So grateful.
Worked with Louie Barnett with his spiritual warfare camps for our church teens one year. That was an amazing time and deep physically and spiritually. Thankful for those times to minister to the teens during those years before the kids.
Overall precious interview and so real and down to earth. That’s what I love about you and Cindy. Thanks for your precious gift of time with me and my daughter. We talk frequently about those special times in your home.
    Blessings,
    Deb

  2. So good to watch my fellow sojourners as they shared and remembered the path “less traveled.” Oma played a major role in giving birth to the move of God during that time of Christian growth and development. Paul I remember you and Dave Henry sharing your testimony on stage at Cantrick. I too was speaking that day as you two football jocks shared about your faith in Christ. Very inspiring. Tim your heart for worship has led many into Gods secret chambers. Thank you two brothers for sharing. Remember and miss our times of sharing and caring for one another and the body.
