“But this is just one way that I think this brotherhood has been able to be formed. I think God created us to be brothers, to be community, to know what’s going on, to struggle together. There’s so much to be said about struggling together and coming through it. It’s a bond that can never be broken.”
Five years ago, Josh Obermiller pursued an idea of how to grow physically, mentally, and most importantly spiritually. He enlisted his friends Luke and Rob to begin an intense workout once a week early on Tuesday mornings that would include opening Gods Word and prayer.
Now the “the Murph Group” has 30 brothers.
We sat down with Josh to discuss 2024, his family, the workout and how the group has impacted his life and the lives of others.

Josh Obermiller serves as a Senior Project Manager and has been married to his wife Kelly for fifteen years. They have four boys, Landon 10, Pearson 8, Dillon 5, and Ariston 2, who according to Josh, bring a lot of wildness and adventure.
