“There are two words that have been on my heart for about a year now, and its acceptance and surrender. And that’s not accepting defeat necessarily…I really believe it’s that acceptance of where you’re at and what you’re able to do in your own ability and surrendering to what He can do with that as He carries you through it day by day.”
Our new post, “Healing We Can Run To,” features our interview with friend and past contributor Erika Riegel.
Watch and listen as Erika shares her story of being diagnosed with scoliosis at age eleven and learning to trust God daily with pain and discomfort. Through the Word, Erika reminds us that though Gods healing is not always immediate, there is restoration, strength, beauty and healing available in His presence each day.
“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes on not what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2nd Corinthians 4:16-18
