Learning to Reed – Dustin Reed

“That’s all you have to be is yourself. You don’t have to change the way you talk, you don’t have to learn any slang, just be you… be yourself, that is your best asset,”
– Dustin Reed stating what is not always as obvious as it perhaps should be.

Our new post and interview, “Learning to Reed,” features our lively conversation with Dustin Reed, Youth and Young Adult Pastor at Compelled Church in Temperance, MI.

We really enjoyed talking to Dustin about growing up and experiencing faith in a big family, finding his own walk with Jesus, a truly unique call to ministry and his heart for youth to live fully in their identity as followers of Christ. The visit before and after the interview was pretty cool also.

Special thanks to our technical director Kelly, especially for the set prep that included stuffing a pillow in the top of one of the church windows to keep the sun out of Dustin’s face. Sun just wanted to shine on him!

As always, thank you Cindi for being the glue.
