Joe Jarvis is an award-winning Christian artist from Metro Detroit known for his upbeat spirit and heartfelt storytelling through music. Despite his nickname “Smiley,” Joe writes from real-life struggles, offering hope and showcasing God’s goodness through catchy, powerful songs.
He launched his career after winning the Michigan State Fair Superstar Competition in 2022 and has since been featured on Fox 2 News Detroit, WMUZ, and various podcasts. At just 24, Joe has opened for top CCM acts like Tauren Wells, Sanctus Real, and We Are Messengers.
His debut album Love is a Verb (July 6, 2024) blends pop, country, rock, and folk influences. In 2024, Joe launched the Love N Laughs Tour, partnering with Celebrate Recovery and other organizations to bring hope, healing, and support to communities across the tri-state area, with backing from Family Life Radio and Hope FM.
